Rutherford County NC Will Book  , 260.

Will of David Hardin, Signed 9 Jun 1811.  Proved Oct tern 1811.

I, David Hardin, weak in body but of sound memory.  I give unto my two sons John and Joseph Hardin two tracts of land where my mill now stands, containing 200 acres, the Mill Creek being the line between them, the East side to my son John.  I give to my son David Hardin the tract of land where I now live, containing 200 acres.  I give to my wife Hanner Hardin my negroes named Harry, Moll, Jake, Sall, Kell, Luie and their increase, during her natural life, then to be equal divided among my chn. viz: Jane Hardin, Jno. Hardin, Rebecca Hardin, Susanna Hardin, Joseph Hardin, David Hardin, Hanner Hardin, Sally Hardin.  I give to my wife Hanner Hardin, all my horses, stock, household furniture during her life time, at her death personal property to be sold and divided between my above named chn.
